2017 - November Newsletter

Autumn is in full swing.

Dear Subscriber,
Summer is well and truly behind us now and autumn is in full swing at La Richardière. The trees in the local neighbourhood have changed to their Autumn gold colours and the leaves are falling rapidly.
English Tea Garden PictureOur community, Le Petit Pressigny, ended the year with it's nationally known art and craft festival "L'art et Lard" literally translated as Art & Bacon! As we mentioned in October's Newsletter, there were some fantastically talented artists on display and some creative sculptors. Artist Daniel LibierCertainly worth a visit if you are in the area in the first weekend of October next year. We were delighted to be involved as my new band "Celtiqua" played a concert on the Saturday afternoon and Patience was involved with the "English Tea Garden" on Sunday (Day 2).

The local villages which surround La Richardière are now preparing for their Christmas Markets. A series of very popular events where one can buy food, craft items and wine which sets everyone up for a decorative and festive Christmas.
